Compare construction restroom quotes for your Chicago jobsite
Put each proposal against the same dates, equipment and access plan. Treat missing terms as open questions, rather than assuming the lowest headline covers the same work.
Start with one shared scope, not two headline prices
Before comparing offers, send each provider the same Chicago jobsite brief: location, busiest shift, operating hours, existing facilities, proposed equipment, first day needed, last day needed and truck access. Keep any unanswered equipment or site-suitability question visible. A quote comparison does not establish the required facility count or approve a site layout.
Use the construction sanitation planning page for the facility discussion, and the existing plan builder to organize your project details. This guide helps compare written terms; it does not quote a price or confirm a booking.
Separate the dates before comparing the rental period
Write down three different things: when equipment must be usable, when it can physically be delivered or collected, and the period the proposal says is billable. Ask the provider to confirm how these relate. Do not assume that the first working day is the billing start, that requesting pickup stops billing, or that a stated rental period means calendar days.
- Needed-for-use window: first and last dates, shifts and any weekend use.
- Access window: when delivery and pickup vehicles can actually enter, including gate or site-contact arrangements.
- Quoted billing basis: start trigger, period length, minimum charge if any, end trigger and treatment of a partial period.
- Change process: how to request an extension or earlier collection, required notice if any, and written confirmation of the resulting terms.
If pickup is requested for Friday but collection happens later, ask which date ends the charge and what happens if site access prevents collection. Record the actual answer; this website does not set a provider’s billing policy.
Compare each included item and each unresolved term
| Quote item | What to confirm for each proposal | Record as |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment | Actual unit type and quantity proposed, handwashing provision and any accessible-unit or route questions still awaiting confirmation. | Specified / unresolved |
| Delivery and pickup | Included trips, access conditions, agreed windows and what is charged or rescheduled if a vehicle cannot reach the placement area. | Included / extra / unresolved |
| Rental period | Billing start and end triggers, period length, any minimum and how an incomplete final period is treated. | Written terms / unresolved |
| Service visits | Proposed cadence and scope: cleaning, waste removal and which supplies are replenished. Ask how additional visits or heavier use are handled. | Included scope / extra / unresolved |
| Changes and interruption | Extension, early collection, relocation, cancellation, damage responsibility and the contact process if equipment becomes unusable. | Process and terms / unresolved |
| Total comparison | For the same stated dates and scope, ask for the total with separately identified charges and applicable taxes or fees, rather than comparing an isolated rental line. | Comparable total / incomplete |
Use “unresolved” when a quote is silent. Do not enter zero for an unquoted item or assume that cleaning, consumables and waste removal mean the same thing in both proposals. Review handwashing supply and wastewater questions separately if those details are unclear.
Resolve one realistic mismatch before choosing
Illustrative comparison, not an actual offer: proposal A includes a stated servicing schedule but leaves the final billing date unclear. Proposal B defines the period but lists extra service separately. Neither is demonstrably cheaper for your job until you confirm the same pickup scenario and service needs in both. Ask each provider to restate the total for that shared scope, then keep the answer with its proposal.
If a term remains open, identify who will confirm it and when. If the crew, hours, dates or placement change, send the updated scope before relying on the previous comparison.
Keep the comparison with your planning brief
Save the dated proposals and your confirmed answers outside this website. The existing plan builder organizes project facts; it does not store or compare provider offers. Do not put payment details or sensitive documents into project notes.
When you are ready to use the current contact pathway, prepare a service request. That sends an inquiry for owner review under the existing consent choices; it does not accept a provider’s offer. Availability, equipment, timing, price and agreement terms still require provider confirmation.
Planning checklist prepared October 28, 2026. These are questions to resolve in actual written proposals, not statements of Chicago law, standard rental terms, current prices or provider inventory.
Keep the details together.
Chicago Site Sanitation helps customers plan and request portable sanitation service. With your permission, your request may be shared with an independent service provider that can evaluate availability and the job details. A request is not a confirmed booking, price, delivery time, or compliance determination.
