Plan a restroom trailer rental in Chicago
A trailer request is easier to quote when the provider knows attendance or crew size, operating hours, power, water, truck access and the expected level of finish.
Prepare my trailer requestDecide what the trailer needs to do
A trailer may offer a different layout, finish or facility arrangement from standard portable units. Describe the setting and expectations, then ask the provider what equipment fits. A more elaborate finish is not automatically necessary.
Check utilities before requesting a trailer
- Power: ask for the equipment’s actual supply, connection and generator requirements.
- Water: confirm whether the model needs a connection or onboard supply, and what potable or nonpotable water requirements apply.
- Wastewater: identify tank arrangements, service access and responsibility for handling waste.
- Placement: confirm stable, level ground, setup room, stairs, any ramp and an appropriate accessible route.
Do not assume a driveway or paved area is suitable just because the trailer fits on a photograph. Ask about truck and trailer turning space, approach clearance, setup time and safe access for guests.
Describe the operating day
Give the provider the hours people will use the trailer, setup and teardown windows, expected attendance or crew size, and any climate expectations. Discuss attendants, supplies and the process for problems during use.
Plan the full event sanitation setup, including handwashing and supplies. Then prepare a trailer request with the details kept together.
Keep the details together.
Chicago Site Sanitation helps customers plan and request portable sanitation service. With your permission, your request may be shared with an independent service provider that can evaluate availability and the job details. A request is not a confirmed booking, price, delivery time, or compliance determination.
